Meet Jeremy

Jeremy Sacket is a proud Oklahoman, raised in the small town of Aline, OK, in northwest Oklahoma. From a young age, he understood the value of hard work, mowing lawns and maintaining cemeteries alongside his brother. As the internet boom took off during his high school years, Jeremy and his brother Michael were eager to learn more. They visited Hastings in Enid, bought a book on website development, and soon after, they founded Mijer Web Production, which later became GammaStream Technologies, Inc. Over the years, Jeremy has started several businesses, using his entrepreneurial spirit to create opportunities and make a positive impact.

Coming from a family of educators, Jeremy has always valued the importance of education. With nearly 15 family members involved in teaching, including his dad, sister, in-laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins, Jeremy graduated with honors from Fairview High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with honors from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Over the last 20 years, Jeremy has developed tools such as School Testing Analytics, Bubble Sheet Testing systems, and Lesson Plan software, all designed to streamline the educational process and enhance the learning experience for both teachers and students.

Jeremy is married to Theresa, a dedicated teacher at West Middle School, and together they have three wonderful children. As a family, they’ve not only contributed to the community by painting the Highland underpasses but also learned how to collaborate with both the City of Ponca City and BNSF Railroad on the Highland Underpass Murals.

In addition to his family and business endeavors, Jeremy is deeply involved in his community. He currently serves on the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce Board and Rotary, as well as the Ponca City Planning Commission. He is a volunteer with the Veterans Landing and the Ponca City Arts and Humanities Council, and has served on the Ponca City Tourism Board, Community Development as chairman, and the Park and Recreation Board as chairman. Jeremy is also a founding member of the Ponca City Disc Club, a member of the Ponca City Leadership Alumni, and is an active member of St. Luke Church of the Nazarene, where he plays acoustic and bass guitar in the praise band.

Jeremy’s commitment to service extends internationally. He and his family served for two years in Thailand at Chiang Rai International Christian School, where Jeremy taught Geometry, Computer Science, and STEM Electronics. He has also graduated from the Ponca City Leadership and Citizens Police Academy, further solidifying his dedication to being an informed and active leader.

Jeremy Sacket is not just a leader in business, education, and community; he is committed to making a difference in the lives of the people of Ponca City. His hands-on experience, dedication to service, and strong community ties will serve him well in representing District 37.
